Discover our comprehensive range of high-torque, corrosion-resistant worm drive, T-bolt, and specialized wire clamps manufactured to strict international specifications.
Established on September 12th, 2002, initially operating as the prestigious Jinchaoyang Mould Company, our organization has undergone systematic development to become a global B2B powerhouse in connection technology: Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. Headquartered in the major international shipping hub of Tianjin, China—a crucial anchor city of the Maritime Silk Road and the Belt and Road Initiative—we benefit from advanced logistical connectivity and a highly integrated manufacturing ecosystem.
Under the strategic leadership of our founder, Mr. Zhang Di, who brings nearly 15 years of deep expertise in connection technology, Mika has evolved from a specialized mold workshop into a multi-facility enterprise recognized by national regulatory bodies. In 2021, we secured national certification as a Technology-Based Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise, followed in 2022 by the prestigious IATF 16949:2016 Certification alongside national High-Tech Enterprise status. Today, with state-of-the-art production bases in Tianjin, Hebei, and Chongqing, we serve the most demanding automotive, industrial, and municipal supply chains across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Understanding the engineering behind high-torque worm gear connections is crucial to selecting the appropriate grade of fastener for your fluid, air, or exhaust lines.
Selecting a high-quality worm hose clamp requires deep knowledge of mechanical stress, torque retention, and metallurgy. As a dedicated OEM supplier, Mika utilizes premium raw materials supplied by China's leading metallurgy mills. Upon arrival at our warehousing facilities, each batch of material is subjected to rigorous incoming quality control checks, including testing for hardness limits, tensile strength, yield limits, and dimensional tolerances. Only materials meeting our strict internal standards are approved for processing in our automated forming shops.
Worm drive hose clamps are classified internationally based on the combination of materials used in their band, housing, and screw components:
Many buyers test stainless steel clamps with magnets, assuming magnetic attraction indicates poor quality. In connection manufacturing, the opposite is true. While austenitic grades (201, 301, 304, 316) are non-magnetic in their soft, annealed state, they undergo a structural transformation (from austenite to martensite) during cold rolling and forming. This process significantly hardens the material to ensure high clamping force. Consequently, a high-quality finished clamp will naturally display minor magnetism.
To achieve optimal tightness without thread galling, thread lubrication is essential. On carbon steel screws (typically used in DIN 3017 W2/W3 classes), the galvanized zinc coating serves as a built-in lubricant. For pure stainless steel (W4/W5) configurations, specialized wax compounds are applied. Our engineers note that transportation temperature fluctuations can dry out wax coatings. Therefore, for extreme environments, we recommend zinc plating the stainless steel thread for superior torque transmission.
Used widely in heavy diesel truck air intakes, turbochargers, and industrial cooling loops, spring-loaded T-bolt clamps are designed to dynamically adjust to thermal expansion and contraction. During installation, it is critical not to compress the spring to its solid height (bottoming out). If bottomed out, the spring becomes a rigid spacer, preventing thermal compensation. This leads to excessive radial force under operating temperatures, which can damage the hose and connection joint.
Our clamping products are integrated directly by domestic OEMs and global industrial giants across several sectors.
Over two decades of precision manufacturing, automation development, and global expansion.
Jinchaoyang Mould Company was formally established on September 12th, laying the groundwork for precision metal forming and tooling design.
On September 28th, the company transformed into a production-oriented enterprise focused entirely on advanced connection and sealing technology.
Built strategic partnerships with major domestic OEMs (GM Wuling, China FAW, BYD, Changan) based on product quality and manufacturing consistency.
Acquired independent import/export certification, enabling direct supply of premium clamping components to international buyers.
Expanded global operations, establishing distribution and supply agreements with industrial customers across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
To support corporate growth, the company renamed to Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. on July 1st. In parallel, 20% of sales revenue was reinvested in automated manufacturing equipment, doubling our output capacity.
