Explore our industrial grade connection solutions designed for leak-free, high-performance sealing across multiple sectors.
Unlocking field installation efficiency, tool-free maintenance, and material longevity across international supply chains.
In modern industrial operations, procurement managers and engineering executives face continuous pressure to minimize downtime while securing structural integrity in fluid transfer lines. The Hose Clamp Key (commonly known as the butterfly handle or thumb-screw clamp) has emerged as a critical component in dynamic environments requiring rapid tool-free assembly and disassembly.
Unlike standard worm-drive clamps requiring specialized nut-drivers or screwdrivers, the integrated polymer or steel key allows operators to apply rated installation torque manually. Global logistics hubs, agricultural irrigation networks, marine vessels, and automotive prototyping facilities prioritize key clamps to accelerate maintenance workflows.
Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. addresses this demand by offering custom W1, W2, W4, and W5 materials tailored to harsh operating parameters, ensuring high residual clamping force without manual slippage.
Optimum band-to-screw engagement designed to withstand heavy thermal cycling without loosening.
Available in AISI 304, 316, and galvanized carbon steel, engineered specifically for specific corrosion ratings.
A trusted pioneer in advanced connection technologies, serving domestic and international OEMs since 2002.

Most clamps are made of different grades of stainless steel. Usually, customers will use magnets to detect the quality of the material. If there is magnetism, the material is not good. In fact, the opposite is true. Magnetism means that the raw material has high hardness and high strength. Because the currently made clamps are usually made of austenitic stainless steel such as 201, 301, 304, and 316, after heat treatment, the raw materials can be completely non-magnetic, but the raw materials used to produce the clamps must meet the hardness and tensile strength of the product itself. So the hardness and tensile strength can only be met by the cold rolling process, which requires the soft material to be rolled into a thinner cold-rolled strip. After cold-rolling, they will indeed become harder and also generate a magnetic field.
At present, the galvanized layer on the surface of carbon steel plated screws plays a lubricating role. Most steel screws in DIN3017 clamps are also galvanized, which can play a lubricating role. If you do not need zinc plating, you need wax compound as a lubricant. At any time, the wax compound will be dried, the temperature during transportation or the harsh environment will cause the loss, so the lubrication will decline, so it is recommended that the steel screw is also galvanized.
T-bolt clamp with spring are commonly used in heavy truck coolant and charge air systems. The purpose of the spring is to mediate the expansion and contraction of the hose connection. Therefore, when installing this clamp, you must pay attention to the end of the spring can not be completely down. If there are exactly two problems in the end: one is that the spring loses its function of mediating thermal expansion and contraction and becomes a solid spacer; although this may shrink somewhat, there is absolutely no way to adjust to thermal expansion and contraction. The second is the heating of the fastening system, the hose will have excessive fastening pressure, damage the pipe fittings, and greatly reduce the service life of the fastening system.
Building the next generation of smart connection technologies.
As industry 4.0 paradigms take root globally, fastening systems are evolving from simple mechanical constraints to intelligent, monitored nodes. Mika Pipeline Technology is actively investing in structural simulations (FEM) to analyze stress degradation profiles under vibration peaks. This analytical approach minimizes raw material waste while optimizing mechanical efficiency.
Additionally, we are exploring new eco-friendly coatings to replace traditional zinc-plating processes with zero-emissions alternatives, matching rigorous EU REACH and RoHS regulations. We aim to introduce composite polymer-metal hybrid key clamps that reduce weight while maintaining high-torque performance.
Developing Cr3+ free passivation layers that match the corrosion protection of zinc without heavy metal waste.
Simulating pressure distribution across the clamp circle to prevent stress hot spots and leak pathways.
Securing structural reliability through comprehensive training protocols and verified supply partners.
Mika obtains high-grade steel only from verified domestic steel mills. Every delivery undergoes strict dimensional, hardness, and tensile evaluations.
Training pathways align skills with advanced automated systems. Our courses highlight quality control and industrial safety, ensuring stable manufacturing output.
