Explore our heavy-duty industrial pipe connection series engineered for leak-free sealing under extreme structural strain.
Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech pioneer in clamping technology, located in Tianjin, China. Serving as a crucial maritime silk road hub, our strategic location integrates seamlessly into global industrial supply chains. We design, produce, and export high-performance connection solutions, guaranteeing non-leakage sealing in demanding applications, including automotive cooling, defense vehicles, industrial fluid transport, and advanced energy projects.
Starting in 2002 as Jinchaoyang Mould Company, we leveraged our deep expertise in high-precision die fabrication to evolve into a specialized fastening technology enterprise. Guided by our founder Mr. Di Zhang—possessing nearly 15 years of metallurgical and structural joint design expertise—we strictly maintain a culture of robust standardization and zero-defect engineering.
Our advanced manufacturing facility utilizes automated high-tonnage stamping lines and continuous computerized testing.
From high-precision mechanical tooling to structural connection technologies, our engineering roadmap represents continuous integration with global safety standards and supply chains.
Hose clamps function in highly dynamic mechanical settings. Achieving a reliable seal relies on understanding the physical and chemical behavior of the raw materials, mechanical stress profiles, and anti-corrosive treatments.
A common misconception is that magnetic stainless steel indicates poor quality. In truth, manufacturing high-tensile clamps requires austenitic grades (like 201, 301, 304, and 316) to undergo cold-rolling processes. Cold working transforms the microstructural austenite phase into a magnetic martensitic phase, directly enhancing the material’s yield strength, ultimate tensile capacity, and springback characteristics. Heat treatments can remove this magnetism, but they also lower the mechanical hardness required to handle high tightening torques.
Screw thread friction directly affects clamping force. Carbon steel screws in our DIN3017 models use a hot-dip or electro-galvanized zinc coating. This coating serves as a structural lubricant, reducing thread galling and turning torque resistance while maximizing axial clamping tension. For ungalvanized stainless steel fasteners, specialized synthetic wax compounds are applied. However, extreme shipping temperatures can degrade these wax lubricants, making zinc-nickel or electro-galvanized coatings the more reliable choice for long-term consistency.
T-Bolt clamps fitted with Belleville or helical springs are vital for high-temperature coolant systems and charge air ducting. During engine thermal cycles, hoses expand and contract. The integrated spring deflects dynamically to maintain constant radial pressure, preventing cold leaks. Proper installation is critical: the spring must not be compressed solid. Over-tightening transforms the spring into a rigid spacer, which eliminates its thermal compensation and leads to joint failure or hose damage.
Mika is continuously advancing our product technologies to meet the changing demands of global manufacturing, particularly in emissions reduction and green energy transition. Our R&D team focuses on two main development pathways:
Our specialized engineering department provides customized connection designs for various global industrial sectors.
Designed to handle high vibrations and extreme temperatures in intercooler loops. Equipped with specialized spring mechanisms to maintain constant sealing pressure during severe thermal cycles.
Constructed with corrosion-resistant W5 (316 Grade Stainless Steel) to withstand saltwater environments, preventing crevice corrosion and pitting in bilge and cooling systems.
Features a continuous inner band profile that ensures uniform radial force. This prevents localized shear stresses on soft hoses, keeping gas lines completely leak-free.
Robust tooling center, certified materials, and complete quality traceability.
Mika operates a modern plant that coordinates material sourcing, stamping, rolling, and automated assembly. We partner with Tier-1 Chinese steel mills to source high-grade raw materials. Every incoming coil is verified for hardness, dimensions, and chemical composition before entering production.
Our in-house tool and mold workshop, drawing on our origins as Jinchaoyang Mould, gives us a distinct advantage. We can design, modify, and produce custom molds within days. This in-house capability significantly speeds up prototyping and reduces production times for specialized clamp orders.
Our quality control system operates on a clear guideline: do not design, manufacture, accept, or transfer any defective parts. This strict standard maintains product consistency and quality for our clients worldwide.
To help you choose the right materials for your environmental and application requirements, we offer the following standard manufacturing specifications:
| Material Code | Band & Housing Material | Screw / Bolt Material | Corrosion Resistance (Salt Spray Test) | Key Application Areas |
