Explore our premium grade selections, optimized for sealing integrity, structural rigidity, and aggressive corrosion resistance in challenging environments.
Securing large-diameter conduits (specifically in the 15-inch or 381mm nominal diameter range) introduces severe mechanical challenges. Unlike smaller couplings, a 15-inch hose clamp must disperse circumferential tension uniformly across an expansive surface area. Any localized pressure drop risks catastrophic blow-outs, joint slips, or fluid leakage.
At Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd., we resolve these challenges through structural physics. By utilizing high-yield strength W1, W2, W4, and W5 stainless steel bands, side-riveted German style housings, and heavy-duty T-bolt mechanical configurations with internal springs, our products guarantee stable radial tension even under extreme thermal cycles and severe operational vibrations.
Standardized pipeline integrity solutions trusted in high-pressure transport, defense, and complex manufacturing networks.
High-diameter flexible ducting and connection systems requiring exact torque control to prevent outer jacket tearing.
Vessels navigating saltwater elements utilize W4 & W5 15-inch clamps for cooling lines and ballast pipes to ensure lasting resistance.
Low and mid-pressure industrial gas exhaust, venting, and delivery loops where zero-leak safety thresholds are strictly enforced.
Robust joints for large-scale field watering, city wastewater discharge, and chemical fertilizer distribution channels.
Power plants, steel refining mills, and chemical processing facilities demanding heavy-gauge steel bands to secure critical pipes.
Exhaust paths, heavy truck intercoolers, and defense vehicle air filtration channels built to withstand rigorous operational cycles.
Mika's manufacturing framework has integrated automated manufacturing cells and real-time monitoring systems. As industrial supply chains require greater agility, our domestic production bases ensure continuous, high-volume capacity without quality drift.
By investing 20% of annual revenue back into automated assembly and stamping configurations, we have optimized our metal forming and band welding systems. This investment allows us to manage manufacturing costs effectively, providing global markets with highly competitive wholesale pricing structures.
Every 15-inch hose clamp undergoes stringent structural testing, including digital torque verification, dimensional checks, and salt-spray corrosion tests. Our multi-facility footprint in Tianjin, Hebei, and Chongqing guarantees consistent, on-time delivery across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

A closer look at how material properties, surface treatments, and mechanical designs prevent premature clamp failure.
Most clamps are made of different grades of stainless steel. Usually, customers will use magnets to detect the quality of the material. If there is magnetism, they assume the material is bad. In fact, the opposite is true. Magnetism means that the raw material has high hardness and high strength. Austenitic grades like 201, 301, 304, and 316 are non-magnetic when soft, but must undergo cold rolling to achieve the necessary tensile strength. This process alters their crystalline structure and generates a mild magnetic field, which is a normal result of standard cold deformation.
The zinc plating on carbon steel screws acts as a dry lubricant, reducing thread friction and maximizing clamping force during installation. Standard steel screws in DIN3017 clamps are galvanized for this reason. Without plating, screws require wax compounds to prevent thread galling. However, these wax coatings can degrade during transport or storage in hot, harsh climates. For reliable performance and consistent torque conversion, galvanized screws are highly recommended.
T-bolt clamps with integrated springs are commonly used in heavy truck coolant and charge air systems to handle thermal expansion and contraction. During installation, it is critical not to bottom out the spring completely. Fully compressing the spring turns it into a solid spacer, preventing it from absorbing thermal changes. This can lead to excessive tension on the hose as temperatures rise, damaging the pipe fittings and shortening the life of the connection system.
Mika maintains an in-house tooling center equipped with high-speed CNC machinery, EDM wire cutters, and precise stamping presses. This tooling setup allows us to quickly develop and test customized clamp designs. Our engineering team can troubleshoot performance issues and design solutions for non-standard pipe connections.
We source our raw materials from reputable domestic mills. Each batch is inspected upon arrival for chemical composition, tensile strength, hardness, and dimensions. Only materials that meet our quality standards are moved to the warehouse, ensuring consistent performance for our final products.

How we are developing smarter, more durable, and environmentally compliant coupling systems for the next decade.
To meet RoHS and REACH regulations, we are transitioning all galvanized steel coatings to hexavalent chromium-free zinc platings. These updates provide comparable salt spray corrosion performance without the environmental impact.
We are researching thin-film sensor integration within large-diameter T-bolt collars. This technology is designed to detect clamp tension drops in chemical pipelines, enabling preventative maintenance before leaks occur.
To support offshore wind and deep-sea mineral exploration, our R&D team is qualifying super-austenitic alloys. These materials are engineered to resist pitting and crevice corrosion in marine environments.
